I minimize who I am and the things I do
I try to make it memorable for everyone of you
I try to disappear into the shadows
While I watch my deeds unravel
Viewing it all from a distance
Seeing the results of my persistence
I'm just a person who is looking to please
So that this world will be better when I leave
I want to touch everyone I know
So that they in turn will continue to grow
To inspire so that they can achieve
The pursuits of life we all should receive
I disappear into the shadows
Watching my magic unravel
I minimize who I am and what I do
For the sole purpose of leaving an impression on you
