Laying in his arms thinking of you
Wishing it was you instead
Wondering what I have to do
To remove you from my heart and head
Regretting so many things undone
Wanting to make it all right again
So many songs left unsung
Everything broken that needs to mend
I know who we are and where we stand
Wish it could be so different from where we are
I hope this is something you understand
I’ll continue hoping and wishing on this star
